This is an excellent means of starting a dialog and raising awareness. Bring these issues to your email discussion lists and blogs, where you can set a community discussion in motion. Each page on the Humane Myth web site has a "Send to a Friend" button. It's easy!
As you do this work, remember that the goal is to foster awareness and encourage critical thinking versus convincing others to act or think exactly as we might want. To be successful in this endeavor, we must be willing to do a lot of listening, to be as open minded as we are asking other people to be. By raising thought provoking questions, and listening sincerely to the responses that come back, we gain access to a deeper level of understanding ourselves.
